About the Opportunity
Gradient Services now have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Logistics Officer to join their team in Malvern, VIC.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is primarily responsible for coordinating the delivery of expedited goods from start to finish. You will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of purchasing, expediting, logistics and invoicing of manufactured equipment is accurate and on schedule.
More specifically, your key duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Processing customer and supplier orders accurately and efficiently in conjunction with the Operations Manager;
- Tracking the progress of orders being manufactured;
- Keeping systems updated with with information regarding manufacturing position and report status to the sales team and customers;
- Organising and tracking international and domestic logistics; and
- Processing orders to customers accurately and on time

About You
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in expediting manufacturing orders and organising international shipments.
You will also have inventory experience, raising purchase orders and invoices as well as a demonstrated competency or capacity to learn Microsoft Office and additional business operations software such as MYOB and Pronto.
Candidates who possess experience in OSTENDO and the manufacturing of mechanical components will be highly regarded.
In this role you will be required to be an organised and detailed professional who works effectively and collaboratively as part of a team with other colleagues, in conjunction with utilising strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively work with customers and other relevant stakeholders.
